Marie "Bonnie" Dickerson

Marie J. “Bonnie” Dickerson, longtime New Suffolk resident, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026. She was 82 years old.

Bonnie was born on March 12, 1944 in Jamaica, NY to Marie (née Buckridge) and Alexander Livingstone. She was one of three children.

On November 25, 2017 she married Joseph Graham at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck and together they made their home in New Suffolk. In her professional career, she worked as a Bank Manager for Bank of New York on Shelter Island for 35 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, where she sang in the choir, was a wedding coordinator and was involved in many other ministries within the church.

Predeceased by her parents; and her siblings Allan Livingstone and Robert Livingstone; Bonnie is survived by her husband Joe; children Colleen Valle (Michael) of West Palm Beach, FL, John Zurawski (Patti) of Cutchogue, Brian Zurawski (Heather) of Wading River, NY and Joanne Biegert; grandchildren Travis Zurawski, Nichole Zurawski-Cowell, Sarah Zurawski-Perricone, Eric Zurawski and Sean Zurawski; great-grandchildren Evelyn Zurawski and Baby Boy Zurawski on the way; sister-in-law Lois Livingstone; cousin Fidel Kloker; and niece Rosemarie Livingstone.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1st from 2-6 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck, where Prayer Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., officiated by Father Joe Staudt.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, officiated by Father Michael Bartholomew.

Interment will follow at Cutchogue Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or East End Hospice would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
