Ruth Hubbard of Peconic passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4-7P.M. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck.
Homegoing services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Cutchogue. A viewing will take place prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Ford.
Interment will follow at Cutchogue Cemetery, where Ruth will be laid to rest beside her beloved late husband, Reverend James Hubbard.
