 James P. Lessard of Mattituck passed away at home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was 76 years old. He was born on August 26, 1949 in Greenport to Ruth W. (nee MacNish) and Victor G. Lessard.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4th from 5-8 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 5th at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck.
Interment will follow at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Cutchogue.
In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association or East End Hospice would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
