Lawrence "Larry" J. Bowles

Lawrence J. “Larry” Bowles of Mattituck passed away at home on Monday, February 2, 2026. He was 88 years old.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9th from 4-7 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, officiated by Father Michael Bartholomew.

Interment with U.S. Navy Honors will follow at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Cutchogue.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the USMMA, Kings Point, NY, East End Hospice or American Legion would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
