Such a great guy! He will be missed. My family has many fond memories of our times with Tom, Betty and Brian. God bless you. Jeanmarie

Years of water skiing, snow skiing, tennis and fun as families in our younger days, before our family moved away. Tom was a great storyteller, and always smiled. I loved his hand painted Christmas cards, and Betty and I beating Tom and my husband at tennis. Maybe only a few times, but still. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. And my deepest condolences to Betty and Brian. Love, Carol\r\n

Tom Doolan - so much to admire. An enthusiastic and engaging professor who prepared his students for success. A Renaissance man who painted gorgeous landscapes, performed music, and led complex organizations without ever missing a beat. Betty and Brian, Tom will be long remembered for his generous and kind spirit.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Professor Doolan. The classes he taught at our graduate program at Stonybrook are ones I remember fondly to this day. His warmth as a person combined with his obvious knowledge of health care stood out. Knowing he was just a phone call away when I began my career was an extremely comforting security blanket. He will be missed

What a great man was Tom.\r\nHis love of family and community knew no bounds. I know Betty and Brian will miss him terribly. They were a comfort to him during his protracted illness.\r\nI’ll miss him checking in, on my peripatetic lifestyle, and those travels have me working away during his funeral. I’m sorry not to be there to commiserate with everyone. Tom will be missed, but often remembered.\r\n\r\nGabriel D
