Adelaide Strickland of Riverhead passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026. She was 87 years old. Viewing Services will be held on Thursday, October 29th from 10-11 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Cutchogue. Homegoing Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will follow at the Cutchogue Cemetery. DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck is serving the family.

Grandma we love you more than we could ever express in words...you were the reason I visited so often and I\'m blessed and thankful to have your blood running through my veins cuz you were part of the reason I was able to survive so many things I\'ve been through and I thank and love you dearly!!!!
