George E. Beggs of East Moriches, NY, and formerly of Mattituck, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026. He was 90 years old. The family received friends on Tuesday, May 26th from 7-9 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, officiated by Father Richard Hoerning. The Rite of Committal was private.
