Richard L. Gibbs of Cutchogue passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was 91 years old. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22nd from 4-7 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold, where U.S. Marine Corps Honors will be rendered at 6:15 P.M., and Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 P.M., officiated by Deacon Austin Stack. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greenport Skating Rink would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
