
Louis F. Angotti of Mattituck passed away at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was 81 years old.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8th from 1-4 P.M. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 9th at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, officiated by Father Michael Bartholomew.
Interment with U.S. Marine Corps Honors will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

Louis F. Angotti of Mattituck passed away at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was 81 years old.
Louis was born on June 9, 1944 in Ridgewood, Queens, NY to Lillian A. (née McIntosh) and Francisco Angotti. He was an only child. After high school, he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1966 attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.
In his professional career, he worked as an aquarium salesman for Aqua Hut in Coram, NY. He was a member of the American Legion Post 803 in Southold and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck.
Louis is survived by his children Kathleen A. Magee (Gary) of Mastic, NY and Marie T. Thompson (Edward) of Mattituck; grandchildren Annmarie Magee, Erin Magee, Kevin Magee, Kathryn Thompson and Edward Thompson; and great-grandchildren Liam, Sean, Leana, Ronin, Chloe, Mia, Danielle, Noelle, Brandan and Lillian.
