I was fortunate to be hired by and worked with Craig for many decades. His good natured disposition and very supportive nature reflected on his confidence, high skill level and happiness in his work and his life. I learned a great deal from him in very gentle and encouraging ways. It was those traits that made him so loved by his students and so successful at building a wonderful department. His retirement farewell tribute concert was second to none and reflected the admiration and love of his students and the high skill level he brought to the HS Music programs in Miller Place. I feel very lucky to have known him and called him a colleague and friend.\r\n\r\nOur hearts break for Penny and the girls. The loss to your family must be immense. Sending our Deepest Sympathies to the entire Von Bargen Family.\r\n\r\nSending Love and Prayers\r\nTerrie and Ed Troyano\r\n\r\n\r\n
